PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable type adhesive film or sheet with its adhesive layer made from a 1-liquid type aqueous emulsion and suffering no bleeding of low molecular compounds. SOLUTION: The removable type adhesive film or sheet has an adhesive layer of an aqueous emulsion of copolymer particles, the aqueous emulsion comprising (a) imide (meth)acrylate monomer units described by General Formula, (b) alkyl (meth)acrylate monomer units having 4-12 carbon atoms, and, as required, (c) other radical polymerizable monomer units. Based on the total amount of monomer units, monomer units occupy 1-5 wt.% in (a), 50-99 wt.% in (b), and 0-49 wt.% in (c). [In General Formula, both R1 and R2 are each independently alkyl group and having 4 or less carbon atoms, either R1 or R2 may be a hydrogen atom and the other an alkyl group having 4 or less carbon atoms, or R1 and R2 may join together to form a carbon ring. R3 is an alkylene group having 1-6 carbon atoms while R4 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and n is any of the whole numbers 1 through 6].
