PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound represented by general formula (I) useful as a prophylactic and/or a therapeutic agents for HIV infectious diseases, asthma, atopic dermatitis, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, allergic eosinophilic gastroenteropathy, nephritis, nephropathy, hepatitis, arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, rejection of transplanted organs and shock during bacterial infection. SOLUTION: This glucopyranose derivative is represented by the general formula (I) [wherein A is O or CH2; R0 and R1 are each H, OH, a (phenyl- substituted) alkoxy, an alkylthio, a halogen, t-butyldimethylsilyloxy, t- butyldiphenylsilyloxy or OSO3H; R2 and R3 are each a group represented by formula (II), formula (III) or formula (IV); E is OCO or E-R3 is H, OH, a (phenyl- substituted) alkoxy, t-butyldimethylsilyloxy or t-butyldiphenylsilyloxy; and R4 is H, a halogen or CH2-R10] or its salt.
