<p>Filtering surface of revolution, pref. cylindrical, is rotated around its axis, and a curtain of fluid submerges it. A fibrous suspension is projected by a nozzle onto the inner face of the surface. Before this, and before rotating the surfaces, the width format of the sheet is controlled; the rotation speed of the surface is measured and controlled to within 1%. The jet speed leaving the nozzle is measured and controlled.</p> |
