PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a warm-up function for an engine with less regulation in layout at a low cost and with simple structure. SOLUTION: This heating system comprises a mechanical supercharger 5 rotatingly driven by driving force of the engine 21, a water-cooled type inter- cooler 7 which cools air discharged from the mechanical supercharger, and a radiator 13 which cools cooling water used for cooling the engine 21 to be heated. The inter-cooler 7 is arranged in a passage 27 for the engine cooling water, which is heated with the air discharged from the mechanical supercharger 5 being as a heat source, and the heated cooling water is supplied to the engine 21 via a warm-up passage 17, whereby warm-up is carried out.
