PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a residual display mechanism of continuous paper allowing visible recognition of residual quantity of the continuous paper. SOLUTION: A lever 2 slides and moves downward due to its own weight in a range of an oblong hole 2d o an arm part 2b inserted into a pin 1, and a needle part 2c of the lever 2 indicates a scale of a transparent window 5 corresponding to the residual of the continuous paper 3 from a full state of the residual quantity of the continuous paper 3 to an empty state.
