PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a side forklift from being inclined to a rack side and to miniaturize rack facilities in the rack facilities using the side forklift traveling along the rack and carrying out/in articles. SOLUTION: The side forklift 4 comprises a traveling car body 7 freely traveling on a traveling route formed along a rack 2, a mast 8 provided on the traveling car body 7 and laterally moving in the perpendicular direction B of the traveling route direction, and a fork 9 liftably provided in the mast 8. An inclination preventing roller 23 capable of abutting on the front face of the rack 2 and rolling in the traveling route direction is provided in the side forklift 4.
