PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a train by using a coordinated transposition point of a loop coil. SOLUTION: This automatic train operating device for automatically operating a train by transmitting specified information between rails on which the train travels, and between the ground level and a train level through a first loop coil laid on the ground along a longitudinal direction of the rail. The automatic train operating device is composed of a second loop coil laid on the ground so as to be superimposed on the first loop coil, and having the coordinated transposition point at a different position from the transposition point position of the first loop coil; a train stopping control means for stopping the train by detecting non-signal when an antenna provided on the train is located at the coordinated transposition point of the first loop coil; and a transmitting means for transmitting the specified information between the ground level and the train level through the second loop coil when non-signal is detected.
