PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the problem of impairing a printing quality by preventing a discharge pressure-generating unit 6 from being deflected by an internal stress of a substrate 1, a thermal expansion difference of a top plate 3, a work strain of discharge openings 4, etc., in an ink-jet recording head in which the discharge pressure-generating unit 6 having at least ink discharge pressure-generating elements 2, ink channels and discharge openings 4 on the substrate 1 is fixed to a supporting member 7 of a flat sheet. SOLUTION: The discharge pressure-generating unit 6 is fixed to the supporting member 7 in a state with a force for correcting the deflection applied to the unit.
