PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cleaning method which solid materials adhered to a filter can quickly and surely be removed by using a back washing method which is costly advantageous without using a suction device or injection device. SOLUTION: This cleaning method is constituted in such a manner that one end of the filter is fixed, on the other hand, the other end is made to be a free end and the free end of the filter is oscillated by the pressure of back flow water when the solid material adhered to the surface of the filter is removed and washed by passing the back flow water from the back side to the front side with respect to the filter which filtrates the polluted water and waste water by passing the same from the front side to the back side.
