PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compact a machine body and miniaturize a packing volume and a storing space. SOLUTION: This rice transplanter has a bonnet (29) arranged at the front side upper part of a machine body, and spare seedling-carrying platforms (30, 30) arranged at the right and left side directions of the bonnet (29). The spare seedling-carrying platform (30) has a supporting body (47) installed so as to be supported by a prop (46), and a seedling carrying body (48) for carrying spare seedlings, installed in the supporting body (47) and having a notched part (58) formed at the outside part of the seedling-carrying body (48). The posture of the seedling-carrying body (48) can be changed between a using posture (88) mounted in a state in which the notched part (58) is directed to the outside and a housed posture (89) mounted in a state in which the notched part (58) is directed to the inside of the machine body.
