PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod-holding device capable of turning a fishing rod held by a rod-fixing part in a horizontal plane while always keeping the rod-fixing part in a predetermined direction to the device body and smoothly fixing the rod-fixing part to the device body with directionality to the device body. SOLUTION: In a fishing rod-holding device installed with a rod-receiving part for supporting a fishing rod and a nipping part 23b for holding the fishing rod by nipping, holding means 23a, 45, 46 for holding the nipping part 23b so as to be rotatable around its central axis almost as a center and forcing means 37, 40, 42 for forcing and holding the nipping part 23b at a predetermined rotatable position so as to direct the fishing rod held by the nipping part 23b toward the position of the rod-receiving part.
