PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact part adsorption unit comprising a simple structure, and a part carrying device including this unit. SOLUTION: This part adsorption unit is provided with a piston 25 capable of reciprocation in a cylinder chamber 11, a means 31 to move the piston 25 forward against energization force of the piston 25, an operation valve 26 formed at one end part of the cylinder chamber 11, and a part adsorption hole 16 formed in a part of a cylinder wall between an advance position of the piston 25 and the operation valve 26. This unit adsorbs a workpiece W, as it is placed, by retracting the piston 25 from the advance position to close the part adsorption hole 16 to make the inside of the cylinder chamber in a negative pressure condition. This part carrying device is composed using the part adsorption unit.
