CONSTITUTION: In this method for producing the end hydrolyzable group-blocked organopolysiloxane of general formula (3) (R is a monofunctional hydrocarbon group; R1 is a monofunctional hydrocarbon group; Z is a hydrolyzable group; R1 is a monofunctional hydrocarbon group; (a) is 0 or 1) by reacting (A) an organopolysiloxane of formula I: (HO)-(R2SiO)n-H containing silanol groups at both ends of the molecular chain with (B) an oragnosilicon compound of formula (2): (Z)4-asiR1a or its partial hydrolyzate, if required, in the presence of (C) a condensation catalyst, the raw materials are introduced into a piping, through which the raw materials are passed, of a blender equipped with a stirring element reciprocating in the flow direction of the raw materials in the piping and the reaction is carried out while vibrating and stirring the raw materials.
