The door handle of the parent specification is modified in that the release lever is provided at that end remote from the catch mechanism with a ring shaped bearing component 3, which is pivotally mounted in the handle member and which accommodates in the space defined by its internal periphery, a flat spiral spring 5, one end 6 of which is secured in a slotted pin 7 projecting out of the handle member and the other end 8 of which is secured in a slot 9 in the release lever. As shown, the component 3 is covered by a plate (10) Fig. 2, which serves for attaching the handle to a fixing surface. |
