PURPOSE: A timepiece dial is provided to know a time even in a dark place, and to provide a colorful decoration effect. CONSTITUTION: This dial is equipped with a decorative member(10) where decorative through holes(13) are formed, and a light emitting member(11) arranged on the lower side of the decorative member(10). A first surface treated layer(14) which is a decorative layer is formed on the upper surface of the decorative member(10), and a second surface treated layer which is a decorative layer having optical transparency is formed on the upper surface of the light emitting member(11). Therefore, when the light emitting member(11) is lit, light from the light emitting member(11) is transmitted through the second surface treated layer formed on the upper surface thereof, passes the through holes(13) of the decorative member(10), and illuminates partially the upper surface side of the decorative member(10) corresponding to the through holes(13), to thereby enable to know a time even in a dark place. And besides, a decoration effect by the first surface treated layer(14) of the decorative member(10) and a decoration effect by the second surface treated layer of the light emitting member(11) corresponding to the through holes(13) of the decorative member(10) are obtained, to thereby obtain the colorful decoration effect by both effects. |
