PURPOSE: A mobile wireless terminal adopting a CDMA system is provided to enhance possibility of assuring stable communication quality under a ratio wave environment with rapid fading. CONSTITUTION: A control section(100) is provided with a reception energy discrimination means(100a) that discriminates an Ec/Io of a received signal to realize a new control function and with a switch changeover control means(100b) that selects an antenna, temporarily receives the signal through the remaining antenna when the Ec/Io of the signal received through the selected antenna is lower than a preset level at sending and receiving or at a speech to detect the Ec/Io and uses the antenna with the excellent Ec/Io for the reception.
