PURPOSE: To provide a laminate shaping apparatus for manufacutring a small- sized three-dimensional shaped article, which is complicated in three-dimensional shape but relatively large in the tolerance of dimensional accuracy, like an ornamental shaped article from a photosetting resin by laminate shaping and to form liquid surface layer to be cured on a laminate of a photoset resin layer effectively, uniformly and smoothly by a surface liquid layer forming apparatus simple in structure. CONSTITUTION: A liquid surface layer forming apparatus is constituted of at least one blade and a photosetting liquid is sucked and held by the mutual action of the surface tension of the liquid and the capillary action of the blade and moved on the surface of a liquid to form a liquid surface layer.
