PURPOSE: A safety braking system of an automatic transmission vehicle is provided to prevent any accident due to a sudden starting of the automatic transmission vehicle by carrying out the braking safely under a low speed driving state without any sudden braking under an engine stop state when an abnormal excessive output is generated in the engine due to a malfunction of an electronic control unit. CONSTITUTION: In a safety braking system of an automatic transmission vehicle, two coils and latching units includes a safety braking switch(10) electrically connected to a positive polarity(21a) of a 2-coil latching relay(20) and having a screw pipe formed with a thread to be electrically connected to a contact point only at a sudden brake state, a fixing nut, a tension spring and a contact point element, and a reset switch(24) electrically connected to a positive polarity(21b) of the 2-coil latching relay to be restored to a normal driving circuit from the safety braking circuit, wherein latching state is maintained for a long term after switching the normal driving circuit to the safety braking circuit in case of operation of the safety braking switch and after switching the safety braking circuit to the normal driving circuit in case of the operation of the reset switch.
