PURPOSE: A method of generating weight vector at the smart antenna of a next generation CDMA wireless communications system is provided to produce a weight vector after reverse dispersion of pseudo noise(PN). CONSTITUTION: In the method of generating weight vector at the smart antenna of a next generation CDMA wireless communications system, the initial weight vector(w(0)) and the value(lambda(0)) is set to generate a weight vector after a reverse dispersion of pseudo noise(PN) instead of the front-end of the receiver for channel tracking and data symbol decoding based on the maximum output power without a lagrange multiplier in the first step(51). In the second step(52), a new post-PN processing data(y(k)) is received. In the third steps(53,54,55), a weight vector(w(k)) is generated at the snapshot index(k).
