PURPOSE: A free-arm shade is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by simplifying the structure of existing shade and using the less parts than the existing one. CONSTITUTION: A free-arm shade comprises a radial shade rib(6), support ribs(7) attached to the radial shade rib, a slider(8) freely attached to the support rib and a decentral pole orthogonal on the outer side of the shade rib. One of the shade ribs is rectilinearly attached to the pole by the shade rib. On the most upper portion of the shade rib, the shade rib having a pivot joint(13) between the edge of the shade textile and the pole is connected to the pole tip(11) through an articulated rib(4) connected to the shade rib(2) through the pivot hinge(12). The shade rib(2) rotates on the circumference of shaft between the pivot joint(13) and pivot hinge(12) so that the entire shade rib deviate from the pole.
