PURPOSE: Electrolysis device and method using oxidation of metal is provided, which improves deposition rate. CONSTITUTION: The device consists of: an electrolytic cell(1") having soluble anodes(2") and an insoluble cathode(3") without placing films in-between; a means for introducing a solution into the electrolytic cell; a means for discharging the solution from the electrolytic cell; and a means for maintaining an adequate solution concentration gradient in the electrolytic cell in a manner as to attain D2-D1 >= 100 g/l when the concentration of the solution near the cathode is defined as D1 and the concentration of the solution near the anodes as D2. The deposition of molten metal again on the cathode is averted by the concentration separation and the dissolution yield over the entire part is improved.
