PURPOSE: A communication equipment and method is provided to be loaded in a desired device for use, comprising: data communication means for storing predetermined authentication data and predetermined connection data and, operating under the control of the desired device, for executing data communication with a predetermined communication device in a wireless manner, by authentication on the basis of the predetermined authentication data; wherein the predetermined connection data are data necessary for connection with a predetermined network. CONSTITUTION: A communication equipment which is loaded in a desired device(2) for use, comprises: data communication means(6) for storing predetermined authentication data and predetermined connection data and, operating under the control of the desired device(2), for executing data communication with a predetermined communication equipment in a wireless manner, by authentication on the basis of the predetermined authentication data.
