PURPOSE: A fire alarm system is provided, which has high incorrect report protection ability and makes response time short and uniform. CONSTITUTION: The fire alarm system(1) consists of: an optical module(5) having a light source(7), a measuring chamber(9) and an optical receiver(8); a temperature sensor(13) and an electronic discriminator(6) connected to the optical receiver(8); an additional sensor(12) corresponding to a burning gas. It is preferable that the sensor(12) is a carbon monoxide sensor, the electronic discriminator(6) has a fuzzy controller for relating signals from respective sensors and diagnosing the signals corresponding to the kind of fire and a dedicated specified algorithm is provided corresponding to the kind of fire and can be selected by diagnosis. |
