A method for providing a client with a commodity. The client transmits client-associated data through a computer network by which the client is identified. The client then initiates a purchase transaction for a selected commodity. The client is billed for the commodity, and then receives a code permitting him to obtain the commodity from a provider of the commodity upon transmission of the code to the provider. |
