PURPOSE: To solve such a problem that a development work of a navi- application is troublesome or the like. CONSTITUTION: A platform-dependent module 34 is executed by using a function of a navigation OS 32. And a navi-application module 35 accesses a platform or a map database through the platform-dependent module 34. In this case, the navi-application module 35 executes transfer of various kinds of information in a fixed form to/from the platform-dependent module 34, and the platform- dependent module 34 executes transfer of various kinds of information in a form corresponding to the platform 38.
