WATER-BASED FILM-COATING AGENT AND SOLID PREPARATION FOR ORAL ADMINISTRATION

PURPOSE: To provide a water-based film-coating agent effective for masking disagreeable taste such as bitter taste of a tablet and having excellent releasability of a drug. CONSTITUTION: The objective water-based film-coating agent contains methylcellulose having a viscosity of 2.0-8.0 mm2/s in the form of 2 wt.% aqueous solution at 20 deg.C and a sugar or a sugar alcohol. The solid preparation for oral administration is a drug preparation coated with the water-based film- coating agent.
