PURPOSE: A radio headphone/remote controller combination device is provided to make an A/V equipment transmit signals in an RF(Radio Frequency) method and to make the A/V equipment receive control signals through two-way communication with a remote controller using existing infrared signals so that signal transmission can be carried out without any interference. CONSTITUTION: A transmitting part(3) in a radio headphone/remote controller combination device consists of an infrared signal receiving part(30), a voice signal output part(31), a transmission control part(32), a signal switching part(33), a frequency modulation part(34), and an RF transmitting part(35). The infrared signal receiving part(30) receives infrared signals from a receiving part. The audio signal output part(31) outputs audio signals. The transmission control part(32) outputs a control signal according to an infrared signal inputted from the infrared signal receiving part(30). The signal switching part(33) selects either an ID signal or an audio signal according to the control signal of the transmission control part(32). The frequency modulation part(34) executes frequency modulation for the signal outputted from the signal switching part(33). The RF transmitting part(35) transmits the frequency-modulated signal to the receiving part through an antenna(36).
