<p>PURPOSE: To stabilize delivery of the wire so that the wire feed rate always stays constant, if the slack quantity of the wire lacks a tension applying means, not by detecting the time at which the wire delivery from a stool stops, thereby preventing the wire from being fed beyond necessary. CONSTITUTION: This bonder comprises a spool motor for rotating a spool 15 wound with a wire 14, a tension-applying means 20 disposed below the spool 15, a wire delivery sensor 40 disposed at a position distant from the gas jet side of the tension-applying means 20 for detecting the lack of the wire 14 being supplied, a wire terminal end detecting sensor 41 disposed at the gas jet side of the tension applying means 20 for detecting that the spool 15 stops from supplying the wire 14, and a controller for controlling, so as to cause the spool motor 11 to rotate by a preset quantity, when the wire delivery sensor 40 detects the wire 14.</p> |
