<p>PURPOSE: To provide a high-performance solid electrolytic capacitor, whose polymerization layer formed at secondary electrolytic polymerization has a shape satisfactory for reducing the dimensions of the capacitor, while the capacitance of the capacitor is not reduced. CONSTITUTION: In the manufacturing process of a solid electrolytic capacitor, whose conductive polymer layer is partially formed by electrolytic polymerization, at least one type of carrier electrolyte with surface active action and at least one type of carrier electrolyte without surface active action are added to solution to be subjected to electrolytic polymerization within respective prescribed concentration ranges. With this constitution, a polymer layer formed at secondary electrolytic polymerization has a satisfactory shape, while reduction in the capacitance of the capacitor is suppressed.</p> |
