METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FERRITE MAGNETIC POWDER AND FERRITE MAGNET

PURPOSE: Provided is a manufacturing method of ferrite magnetic powder, of which composition and grain size are uniform and fine, thereby providing excellent magnetic properties. CONSTITUTION: The manufacturing method includes spraying mixed solution in which chloride of iron and chloride of strontium are dissolved, under a heating atmosphere. The mixed solution to be sprayed contains FeCl2 of at least 25% and at most 35% and SrCl2 of at least 2.4% and at most 4.9%. The powder particles formed by spraying have a crystal structure of magnetoplumbite type hexagonal system whose basic composition is expressed by SrO.nFe2O3 (n is 5.0 or more and 6.5 or less), and exhibit superior magnetic characteristics.
