POLYPEPTIDE AND ITS USE

PURPOSE: Provided are a novel polypeptide, a DNA encoding the polypeptide, and an antibody immunologically reacting with the polypeptide which are useful for the study immune system in a mammal and the development of an NK inhibitor/regulator. CONSTITUTION: The polypeptide comprises an amino acid sequence containing the human being-derived specific amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:5 or a part of sequence of SEQ ID NO:7 showing at least 75% of homology to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 5. It is manufactured by the steps of: culturing E.coli transformants in a nutrient medium; then recovering produced polypeptides from the culture.
