PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope device capable of executing visual field masking to video signals with a small circuit scale and easily coping with the change of a mask shape as well. SOLUTION: The mask shape of the visual field masking is stored in a serial EEPROM 121 as a bit pattern and mask formation means 11, 12 and 122 for reading the bit pattern from the serial EEPROM 121 and performing the visual field masking to the video signals on the basis of the bit pattern are provided.
