The cold food storage circuit for a cellar or cave (2) has a closed fluid circuit with electric control valves for the fluid circulation. It has at least one source for the fluid formed from a subterranean tank (3) which can be heated geo-thermally. The heat energy allows maintenance of the cellar at a lower temperature than ambient to preserve the food. The circuit can have a second fluid source with a thermodynamic pump (6) which can remove heat from the fluid.
