TRANSMISSION METHOD AND TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission method by which a receiver side can easily discriminate details such as a channel configuration of data transmitted via a bus line. SOLUTION: In the case that data with a prescribed format are transmitted between devices connected to bus line in the unit of a prescribed data length, slots for transmission of auxiliary data of transmitted data are formatted in the unit of the prescribed data length, identification data denoting a spatial arrangement of the transmitted data is arranged in a 1st slot among the slots at which the auxiliary data are transmitted and data relating to setting of the transmitted data are arranged in a 2nd slot and the resulting data are transmitted.
