PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a fingerprint in noncontact state without placing a finger on a glass pane surface, prism surface or pixel array as conventional. SOLUTION: A finger in the state of practically contacting a required fingerprint part to nothing is guided so as to be located inside an allowable read range by a limiting member, this finger is irradiated with light from a light source and this reflected light is received by a photosensor. |
