The support consists of a platform (1) measuring 450 x 560mm, mounted on four 42mm-diameter wheels (2), two of which have brakes, and a telescopic upright (10) with handlebars (5) and a back support (6). The platform has stops (3) for the user's heels, and the upright has supports for the knees. The upright and supports are made from square or roundsection chromium plated or painted metal bars, and all the components are adjustable by means of wingnuts. The platform is painted in a bright colour for easy visibility, and the back and knee supports are covered with foam and washable hygienic fabric.
