SOLUTION: In a laser where laser gas is pumped through discharge, one or more discharge spaces 13 for pumping laser gas through discharge are defined by the cooling faces of cooling plates 4, and a magnetron 8 generating microwave is employed as the pumping source of the discharge spaces 13.
