PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device assembly which is capable of realizing the miniaturization of a mounting circuit in which a shunt resistor is provided in a thyristor to detect its main current or voltage. SOLUTION: A switching semiconductor chip 1 is surface-mounted on an insulating board 4 fixed on a heat dissipating board 5, and a shunt resistor 14 for detecting the main current or voltage of the switching semiconductor chip 1 is annexed on the insulating board 4. The shunt resistor 14 is provided bridging a gap between the wiring pattern 11a of the insulating board 4 to which the one end of an electrode leading terminal 8 that is led out from the semiconductor chip 1 is joined and the other wiring pattern 11b to which an outer lead wire 12 is bonded.
