PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming method and an image forming device capable of compensating the secular change of image density over a wide range without being influenced by abnormality which is found in a calculated output value in the case of compensating the secular change of the image density by correcting the output value of a laser beam. SOLUTION: The output of the laser beam is set to the stored output value and an image for inspection having specified pixel density is formed on a photoreceptor. The density of the image for inspection is detected, the output value of the laser beam that the density of the image for inspection becomes specified density is obtained to judge whether the obtained output value is normal or abnormal. In the case of judging that the output value is abnormal, the output of the laser beam is set according to the stored output value, and in image is formed by the set output of the laser beam in this image forming method. |
