PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driving device capable of independently correcting tilts of plural axes in a technology for correcting the tilt which is the inclination between the normal line of an optical disk and the optical axis of an optical head, by a liquid crystal element, also having a simple driving circuit per one axis and additionally having the correcting function for spherical aberration, and also to provide an optical head reduced in the deterioration of jitter when a liquid crystal element is installed on a fixed part. SOLUTION: The device consists of a periodic waveform generator 1, a phase shift means 3 for shifting the phase, an inversion element 7 for inverting the output of the phase shift means 3, and a potentiometer 9 for potential dividing the output of the phase shift means 3 and its inversion output, then the special features are provided such that the output of the periodic waveform generator 1 is connected to a common electrode 12 of the liquid crystal element 11 and also each output of resistors in the potentiometer 9 is connected to each divided electrode of the liquid crystal element 11. |
