<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To singly start a computer without problem after undock even when detaching the main body of the personal computer from a docking station, with which a lock mechanism is not provided, (even in the case of surprised undock) in the suspension state of the computer without increasing work burden for a user. SOLUTION: A special utility stores selected contents by making the user select whether or not a driver for docking station side device is to be unloaded before suspend (8-1). When the transition to a suspend state is instructed in the state of expanding the function of the computer by the docking station (2) and when unloading is selected, the special utility unloads the driver for docking station side device (8-2). Afterwards, the computer is transited to the suspend state (3).</p> |
