PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device performing such dot-at- a-time driving that the unevenness of density of a display picture cannot be conspiciously recognized. SOLUTION: A signal line driving circuit 19 for performing dot-at-a-time driving by applying video signal voltages sent from a signal processing circuit 22 and a timing circuit 21 to signal lines 5 is provided with driving direction change-over circuits 12 for inverting driving directions 15 of dot-at-a-time driving, and the signal processing circuit 22 is provided with a video signal rearranging circuit 24 for rearranging the video signals required in accordance with the inversion of the driving directions in synchronization with the inversion.
