PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recognition device which is adequate and comfortably used by performing voice recognition taking the presence of a nonuser into consideration. SOLUTION: Prior to a voice recognizing process (S50), it is judged whether the number of passengers is 1 (S30) and when the number f passengers is two or more (NO: S30), attention is attracted (S40). The speaking of a fellow passenger may cause ambient noise which decreases the recognition level of voice recognition, and hence the attention is attracted prior to the voice recognition to make a request for cooperation for the preparation of an environment adequate for the voice recognition. Through this attention attraction (cooperation request), it becomes easy to prepare the environment adequate for the voice recognition. When the number of passengers is two or more (S60: NO), vocalization for end notification is performed (S70) after the voce recognizing process in S50. The fellow passenger learns that the voice recognition is completed and the passenger does not need to keep silence. |
