PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the wiring pattern of various types of stator winding readily using one connection board. SOLUTION: The connection board comprises connection board elements 1u, 1v, 1w for connecting the winding of phases U, V and W, and a plurality of overlapped connection board elements for star connection and delta connection. Each connection board element is provided with a conductor 11a-11d which is connected selectively with a joint 14 being connected with a terminal 12u-12w for connection with an external power supply and the terminal of the shunt winding of each phase. A wiring pattern for connecting the shunt winding of each phase in series, parallel, stat or delta connection is selected, and a hole is made in the connection board comprising overlapped connection board elements to obtain the wiring pattern of a desired stator winding which is then fixed to the stator winding. Various types of stator winding can be obtained by simply selecting the boring position and stock management of connection board is facilitated.
