摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating liquid crystal alignment materials wherein costs can be drastically reduced by efficiently regenerating waste alignment materials which is scrapped after used in a LCD liquid crystal stage and waste processing costs can be reduced by remarkably reducing the quantity of the waste alignment materials generated. SOLUTION: The method for regenerating the liquid crystal alignment materials comprises a step for recovering the waste liquid of the liquid crystal alignment materials, a step for mixing the recovered waste liquid of the liquid crystal alignment materials with ultra pure water or an organic solvent which is insoluble to PAA and sol. PI which are the components of the liquid crystal alignment materials to solidify the PAA and the sol. PI and a step for separating the solidified PAA and sol. PI from the organic solvent or the ultra pure water.
