PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing apparatus that can improve attitude retention characteristic by controlling friction resistance in the service environment of a higher fluid pressure, also by controlling an abrasion of a back-up ring and by strengthening a sealing part. SOLUTION: A protection part 5c extended along and close to a back face 10b of the back-up ring 10 is formed at a ring reinforcement 5 of the sealing apparatus 1. |
