PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate making method capable of recording a sharp image nearly independently of laser flare and applicable even to processing in a light room. SOLUTION: Ultrashort pulsed laser light emitted from a Ti:Al2O3 laser light source 25 (figure 3) is modulated with AOM 27 (acousto-optical modulator). The modulated laser light is focused on the high sensitivity photopolymer layer 5 (figure 2) of a photosensitive plate making material 1 through a condenser 29. The condensed ultrashort pulsed laser light causes a photopolymerization reaction by two-photon absorption phenomenon in the laser light irradiated part of the photopolymer layer 5 and a cured part 11 is formed. |
