PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile terminal, where a transmitter side can recognize the situation of a receiver side in the case of executing facsimile communication and to provide communications equipment, a communication method and a recording medium. SOLUTION: When a user sets its absent date and a facsimile call arrives at the set absent date, after the end of facsimile reception, the receiver facsimile terminal can inform the transmitter about information denoting the absence of the user and information denoting this, when the user can see the received facsimile information.
