<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packing radioactive or poisonous waste. SOLUTION: In this method for packing the radioactive or poisonous waste, the radioactive or poisonous waste is compressed or solidified, or vacuum-packed in a plastic bag, and put in a metallic container, followed by packing in a reinforced plastic tank evacuated or directly covering outside of the metallic container with the radioactive or poisonous waste put therein by one reinforced plastic surface layer. An external surface of the metallic container is thereby protected, and safety in storing the radioactive or poisonous waste in the metallic container is ensured for a long time.</p> |
