PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device and an input system capable of performing input with excellent operability without using wiring. SOLUTION: This coordinate input device 30 is constituted of a touch panel 20, an antenna 21, a display 22, a receiving part 25 and a control part 26 and detects coordinates by specifying a desired position on the touch panel 20. An input pen 24 transmits an RF signal as information on input operation and the RF signal is received by the antenna 21 on the touch panel 20. Input information is displayed by coordinate information on the touch panel 20 and input information discriminated according to plural input operations. Consequently, plural operations are enabled only by the input pen 24 without using the wiring and the operability and functionality are enhanced.
